Tuber Sale FAQs

Please take a minute to review our conditions of purchase and other details.

We are a very small flower farm. The varieties in our sale are in excess to our planting requirements and we look forward to sharing them with you.

  • All tubers are shipped with eyes showing and in perfect condition for growing, they have been divided and stored carefully over winter and are ready to plant or pot up on arrival. Please ensure you remove your tuber from the packaging and plant following all risk of frost in your growing area.

  • Tubers will be shipped in the weeks following our sale in order of placement, those selecting local pickup will be contacted about the best time to pick up

  • Dahlia growing is subject to many variables, the weather, soil types, pests and disease. A “how to” will be provided with the sale, all responsibility for growing the tuber is with the purchaser.

  • All our cultivars are grown and divided by me, Kristen & I have removed any sign of unhealthy plants and made all considerations to decontaminate between dividing tubers. Some Dahlias may be perfectly healthy here on our farm but under different growing conditions or stress can show signs of virus. Cassilis flowers can offer no refunds or replacements for any plant that fails to thrive in its new growing environment.

  • We can ship in Australia only, unfortunately we CANNOT ship to Tas, WA or NT due to quarantine restrictions.

  • Stock is very limited, we can not ensure stock in your cart to be confirmed until payment is made.

  • Some cultivars on our website may not be available at the time of sale as we count and check for eyes and our own planting requirements. I am endeavoring to increase stock on highly desired cultivars and we continue to grow our collection.

  • Local farm pick up is available for Cassilis, Merriwa & Coolah residents only.

  • Some tubers have a limit of ONE per household, this is to share rarer varieties widely, I will refund any additional orders on these varieties

  • Shipping Fees - Personally, I really don’t like paying shipping fees so in 2024 I am trialling selling my tubers with FREE shipping on orders over $100, any order below the $100 will pay a shipping fee of $15
